Oldbaum’s Data Scientist Emma is heading to Helsinki next week – to take part in EWEA’s 2015 Resource Assessment Technology workshop. This is the 3rd edition of EWEA’s event on wind resource assessment, which runs from Tuesday, June 2 to Wednesday, June 3. This year's focal point will be on how to deal with and reduce uncertainty.
Emma will present as part of the ‘Measurements’ strand on Tuesday, June 2 at 3pm. LiDAR measurements will be given special attention, with the focus of the session being on reducing uncertainty and cutting costs of onshore & offshore wind measurements.
Emma will provide insights into two offshore campaigns which Oldbaum is currently working on in France. The full title of her presentation is: ‘Cost Effective Offshore Wind Measurement Campaigns using Scanning LiDAR’.
