As one of the leading wind data consultancies and with vast experience in remote sensing technologies, such as nacelle-based LiDARs, Oldbaum are especially looking forward to next week’s Global Offshore Wind conference in London that will be hosted by Renewable UK. It’s the association’s 14th annual offshore wind energy conference where over 100 expert speakers and more than 150 exhibitors will attend.
It is an exciting time to be heading to such a high-profile conference in the British capital when the UK continues to be the world leader in installed offshore wind capacity – 4.48GW, as much as the rest of the world combined. The conference will feature two debates: one about offshore wind in competitive markets where special attention will be given to securing a 2030 trajectory, and another one about manufacturers and developers taking a new approach to industrialisation. Additionally, there will be a number of presentations on topics such as global markets for offshore wind, investment strategies, and key policies for continued growth.
